 #HitTheBuds We turned stadium signage into a chance to win free beer for a year.

With limited fans in attendance due to Covid-19, the MLB used tarps to cover large sections of empty seats. So we turned one of those tarps into an ad. And turned that ad into a real-time opportunity sweepstakes. If a player on either team hit the buds during the World Series, anyone who tweeted #HitTheBuds would be eligible for beer for a year. A player hit the buds on the first and last game of the World Series, and #HitTheBuds was the #2 trend in the country for much of Game 5 (unfortunately, we couldn’t overtake an extremely dramatic episode of the bachelor. Alas.)
